I began with a 30L Decathlon backpack, a budget-friendly choice that proved itself invaluable during my early travels. Later, a suitcase with wheels carried my 20kg check-in load, alongside a compact cabin trolley, air travel's trusted companion.

This setup suited my moves to England and Australia. As my journeys grew more frequent, especially in Southeast Asia, I transitioned from a bulky suitcase to a 55L backpack, a Deuter model currently in my possession. In the Netherlands, I paired a wheeled duffel bag with my Decathlon backpack, skipping the cabin trolley due to my anticipated return to Italy.
